The Omega Speedmaster was not, as is often wrongly assumed, built for space. In reality, it was developed for wealthy convertible drivers of the 1960s who liked to spend their money on a luxury watch with a sporty appearance and the highest precision. The first "Racing" models appeared in the late 1960s and featured an even sportier design than the basic model with the familiar black dial. Since the "Racing" models had much lower production numbers, some early models are now almost unaffordable.
Our Speedmaster Racing also has the potential to become a classic. It is from the last racing collection and has the extremely popular yellow accents on the bezel, dial and hands. As a full set with all papers, an incredibly beautiful wooden box and even the original invoice from 2017 from a Swiss jeweler, you really can't go wrong here.
