Real vintage! The Heuer Carrera from the 1970s. Hardly any watch in Heuer history can compete with the glory of the Carrera. Developed by Jack Heuer personally as a tribute to the Carrera Panamericana, probably the most dangerous road race ever.  The asymmetrical dial design exudes the motorsport feeling of the 70s. The caliber 15 with microrotor has a small permanent second at 10 o'clock, while the crown is atypically located on the left of the case.  Since the Caliber 15 Carrera did not reach large numbers, pieces with this special dial are rarely offered on the collector's market.
 
 Our Carrera 1553N is not new. And it shouldn't be. It is approx. 50 years old and has developed a correspondingly beautiful patina. Small scratches are part of it. At 11 o'clock you can see the brass shining through the worn chrome layer. This watch was worn and is not a safe queen!  A watch for people who want to wear a piece of watch history on their wrist and who need vintage charm.
