The Breitling Chronomat Blackbird pays homage to the legendary Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird spy plane of the US Air Force. An aircraft that flew almost 26 km high at Mach-3 over the USSR, was equipped with stealth technology and had the simple task of taking photos. The Breitling A44359 was the third generation of the Blackbird era and brought about major changes compared to its predecessors. Under the hood was the new Breitling 44 caliber (based on ETA 2892). The watch grew to a stately 43.7mm in diameter and got a big date window. The pushers have been redesigned and have a locking function so that the chronograph cannot start or stop unintentionally. In addition, the Blackbird is "Chronometer certified" from this series onwards. With its simple technical yet typically stylish Breitling design, this watch is a must for every Breitling lover.
 Our Blackbird comes as a complete set in very good condition. The new price of this watch in 2007 was an astronomical CHF 7,040 (invoice available). Falling prices are no longer to be expected here. Take the opportunity and strike!
